Good Afternoon, everyone. Last night on Channel 7 on abc7 news, I was watching the news and that Facebook and Google are testifying in court due by the group from Europe called General Data Protection Regulation. General Data Protection Regulation will give people better privacy protections and force companies including Facebook to make sweeping changes to the way they collect data and consent from users – with huge fines for those who don’t comply.

It is a regulation that requires companies to protect the personal data and privacy of residents of EU countries. It replaces an outdated data protection directive from 1995 and restricts the way businesses collect, store and export people’s personal data. So I have 2 links for everyone to see check it out. One is about Facebook and Google and the other blog will be The General Data Protection Regulation. Let if you have any thoughts or concern you may have. Thank you and have a wonderful week.
