We hold our Technical Meetups with subject matter experts on odd numbered months (Jan, Mar, May, Jul, Sep, Nov). Each is around the technology theme for the year. Meetings are held on the second Thursday of these months.
ITKAN also hosts networking and support Meetups on even numbered months (Feb, Apr, Jun, Aug, Oct, Dec). Meetings are held on the second Thursday of these months.
Meetings are at 5:30 PM (CST) -7PM (CST) in our virtual meeting space on Virbela’s Open Campus. We’re on the rooftop of the Community Center, but we make sure to collect folks from the entrance area to campus. Our networking and support Meetups provide opportunities for members to network with each other and present any leads on apprenticeship, work, certifications, or any area of growth. It’s also a great, agenda-free opportunity to get to know other members.
We also have a standing informal meet and greet on campus every Wednesday evening (5PM CST) to just hang out and talk, experience the campus, and explore. ITKAN Technical meetings are full of discussions on IT in different sectors and formats, going from general info to the most granular of knowledge. We strive to continue being relevant and we’re always looking to improve, so please offer any input or thoughts.
